Alumni Association Scholarship Opportunities

Alumni Association Spirit Scholarship ($1000): Awarded to three UAlbany students who demonstrate outstanding school spirit and commitment to the University and its students.

The Agnes E. Futterer Memorial Fellowship ($750): Awarded to a UAlbany senior entering graduate study in theatre or a theatre-related field at UAlbany or any other accredited institution or recognized theatre program.

The Albert N. Husted Fellowship ($1000): Awarded to a UAlbany senior planning for a full time graduate study in any area of study at the University or any other accredited university.

The Adna W. Risley Memorial Scholarship ($500): Awarded to a UAlbany senior or graduate student pursuing a graduate degree in history.

The Class of 1972 Scholarship ($500): Awarded to a graduating senior planning to enter full time graduate study at the University during the net academic year.

Bertha Brimmer Legacy Scholarship ($1500): Awarded to a current or incoming freshman or transfer student who is the child or grandchild of an alumnus/a.

Scholarship applications will be available online beginning Feb. 1 at Applications are due March 7.

Run for SA Office!

Interested in student government? Want to run for a position in SA for the 2012-2013 academic year? Come down to the SA Office CC 116 and grab a self nomination form to run in the General Election. The positions that are open for election are as follows: President, Vice-President, Senator-At-Large, University Council and SUNY Assembly! Nomination forms are due February 22th by the close of business at 5pm!

Elections for Student Association are taking place NOW and end at 11:59PM on February 10th. Voting takes place on MyUAlbany!! The positions up for election are Off-Campus Senator, Senator At Large, Dutch, and Vice President! Please vote in these mid-term elections!

Career Services in conjunction with Student Association presents their annual Job & Internship Expo! There are opportunities for students of all majors and there will be representatives from Government, Non-Profit and Corporate Sectors. Be sure to bring your resume. Professional dress required.
